From the Grand Island Independent:
"It took to the final hours of 2017, but Fonner Park and the Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association signed the simulcastings agreement late Sunday night.
Tom Sage, a member of the Nebraska Racing Commission, announced on Twitter late Sunday night that the deal was done with this tweet:
“As of 11:15 PM on December 31, 2017 the racing commission has received simulcast agreements from all thoroughbred race tracks. The racing commission has approved the (winter) simulcasting agreements for all four thoroughbred racetracks commencing on January 1, 2018.”
