As negotiations between horsemen and Arlington Park's owner, Churchill Downs Inc., continue, a potentially positive development for racing's future in the Chicago area arrived late Monday. Arlington's racing department announced the 2020 stakes schedule to be led by the Aug. 15 Arlington Million (G1) card, which anchors an 18-race added-money slate worth $3.65 million.
