Fonner Park has reached the halfway point of its 2018 live meet. Friday will be day 16 of the 31-day meet that ends on Kentucky Derby day in early May. The first half of the meet has been a roller-coaster ride for many at Fonner Park. There have been some good things, some bad things and some downright ugly things. We’ll start with the good. The five Saturdays so far in the meet have been outstanding. The stands have been full and the mutuel handle up where it needs to be in order for the track to be successful.
