Horse group sees Sports Creek as Michigan's next thoroughbred racing capital
SWARTZ CREEK, MI -- For the first time in 88 years, thoroughbreds won't race in Michigan in 2018 -- something a group representing owners, breeders and trainers don't believe will happen again because of a possible sale and reopening of Sports Creek Raceway.
