Nebraska Judge Rules Breeders Association Can't Oversee Pooled Funds

The Nebraska Thoroughbred Breeders Association stands to lose over $500,000 in funding from tracks in Lincoln and Omaha after a district court judge ruled the Nebraska State Racing Commission overstepped its bounds by giving the breeders organization the authority to manage the 1 percent collected from all of the state's tracks, according to the Lincoln Journal-Star.
