While no headcount is yet available, gamblers from the now-closed Hazel Park Raceway have made their way to Michigan's lone remaining horse track, Northville Downs.

That's meant an uptick in revenue, and in response to the wave of new business, the Northville track and the group that represents the harness race horse owners convinced the Michigan Gaming Control Board to shift fall race dates to this summer so that there's no break in the season.
